Deloitte Technology Fast 50

Coastal's Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards

For six years in a row, Coastal made the Fast 50 list! (2001 through 2006)

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a listing of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in a given geographic area. Winners of the 20 regional Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered into the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top fastest-growing technology companies.

The Fast 50 Awards were started in San Jose, CA in 1995, and have now expanded worldwide to incorporate 9 countries and regions, including France, Germany, Central Europe, the Netherlands, Asia-Pacific, Israel, and Australia – plus 20 individual programs.

The Fast 50 is based on percent growth in fiscal year revenues over five years. The ranking features the 50 private and publicly-held Technology, Media, and Telecommunications companies that have demonstrated innovative strategies, sound management practices, and marketplace vision. It is an indication of past growth, and does not take into account current performance and profitability.

In 2005, Coastal also made the Technology Fast 500 List!

In 2005, there were Fast 50 programs in 13 countries or international regions, plus 19 separate programs in the United States. And for the first time, Coastal Environmental Systems made the Fast 500!

The Fast 500 is a list of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America. This list is compiled from three sources: Deloitte's 20 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research.

Coastal was ranked 493 in our first year on the Fast 500, with 246% revenue growth over the last 5 years.

In 2006, Washington State companies were combined into the first ever "Pacific Northwest" ranking, as the Fast 50 was opened up to Oregon and Idaho companies for the first time.

More information on the Fast 50 is available from the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Regional Programs web page. For more info on the Fast 500 lists, visit the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 web page.
