See a Google Earth Tour of Coastal's worldwide AWOS Installations
Coastal's tour is still a work-in-progress. Currently, you can find information on our AWOS installations in the last seven years. We still have to add placemarks for several hundred fixed-base AWOS, as well as info on older systems.
Once Google Earth opens, select the "Tour-AWOS-Installations" folder in the left "PLACES" menu and click the "PLAY TOUR" folder icon at the bottom.
If you do not see the pop-up balloons when the tour waits at AWOS installations, please edit your preferences as follows: Under Tools/Options/Touring check the "Show balloon when waiting at features" option; then click "apply" and "OK".
